Users:
You can only complete these steps to update your password if you already have access to your account. If you have lost access please contact your system admin.
- First, login to your account here: https://webmail.pinwheelweb.dev/
- If you login directly to Round Cube, click "Webmail Home" on the left. Otherwise you can skip this.
- Next, under "Edit Your Settings" at the bottom. Click "Password & Security".
- Enter your new password, then confirm it, and click "Save".
If your password does not hit the strength REQUIREMENT of 65 you will not be allowed to use it. Please create a stronger password. This help article from Google can provide some tips. (Follow Step 1) We can also recommend using a password manager like BitWarden, LastPass, 1Password, or even Google Password Manager which can allow you to store even stronger passwords without being forced to memorize each password.
Admins:
If your user has been locked out of their account, you can use these steps to help them fully regain access.
How to reset an email password
- First, login to cPanel. You can do that here.
- Next, in the Email category click "Email Accounts".
- Click "Manage" on the account you'd like to reset.
- From here you can generate a new password. (Send this to your user securely.)
- Click "Update Email Settings" below to save the new login.
- Finally, we recommend instructing the user to follow the steps at the top of the article.
We recommend getting a company password manager. We use BitWarden and Elepass but other options are available. This can help reduce your IT calls and increase your company security.
